The Clarke IG1000 generator is a small portable generator and is perfect for motorhomes, caravans, camping, boats and market stalls.

The 1000w inverter generator will supply 900w of power at normal load but will output up to 1kw when needed, power is supplied through a domestic 3 pin socket and also has a 12v battery charging facility. The Clarke IG1000 produces a stable flow of electricity through the inverter technology which eliminates power spikes that can cause damage to sensitive equipment such as a TV or laptop.

The portable generator will automatically shut down should the machine overload or run low on oil which is an important safety feature that prevent expensive repair bills. The 2.7 litre fuel tank will keep the Clarke IG1000 generator running up to 8 hours before needing a refill. Weighing in at just 18kg with a full tank, the Clarke IG1000 is easily portable and can its compact size takes up little storing space.

For its low price, the Clarke IG1000 is surprisingly quiet and measures just 64dBa at 7 metres, however if you need a unit that’s quieter take a look at the better quality Honda EU10i generator although not in the same budget as the Clarke IG1000 generator.
